The Last Supper and the First Supper

The Oettli Family has moved!  On August 9th we moved to Grandma and Grandpa's house while they are on their mission.  We had been slowly  moving our things over all summer so the moving day was not so long.  We were very sad to move from our little house, we lived there 10 years and Jono had done much of the remodeling himself.  We will miss being in such close proximity to each other at all times and we will miss our awesome yard with the putting green and playground set.  We have played many football and baseball games outside and had endless putting contests.  Good-bye 1768 East 6400 South!

Here is our family eating one last Sunday dinner, we had already taken down our paintings so the house looks bare and sad.  You can see that Jono makes us a yummy dinner every Sunday after church.

This is us on moving day, posing for one last picture in front of our cute house.  The cousins were glad to pitch in and help.  Check out Coleman's strong Oettli arms.

Here we are in our new home eating Sunday dinner for the first time.  The food is just as yummy and we have learned that it is not the house that makes it a home, it is the family inside!  Jono has been replaced as the dishwasher by a real dishwasher.

Bud, Rosie and Coleman love having their own rooms and have decorated by themselves.  Bud and his friends like playing pool or pingpong downstairs and Rosie has her Calico Critters spread out over half her room.  We have even played a game of football outside.  Bud's only complaint is that in our old house, it was only 10 steps from his room to the kitchen and now "it's like 50 steps."  Jenn loves the TiVo and Jono likes the Golf Channel in HD.  Coleman is obsessed with the garage doors and the central vacuum system.  He also loves to ride the truck and four-wheeler all around the cul-de-sac and up and over our neighbor's ramp; he's a daredevil.  Coleman is the only one struggling to adjust to the new house.  He keeps asking to go to "Mom's house" and sleep in his crib.  This went on for about a week and a half and then one day he said, "Grandma's house is our house!"  Now if we could only get him to stay in the bed.....

Coleman falls out of bed several times a week, but he doesn't wake up, he just sleeps on the floor.  This can't be comfortable!

I love Bud in his boxers. You will love the extra room and then realize that running from downstairs all the way upstairs is the same as going to the gym.

I'm so glad you are back online and adjusting to your new house.

Poor Coleman sleeping on the floor! At least he goes back to sleep.

I remember the falling out of bed days. We bought bed rails and have a set of them if you would like to borrow them.
