July 4th

We had an extra long weekend of celebrating our country's independence this year! We had two parties, one with our Brain cousins and another with our Cook cousins to eat the left-over food. We saw two awesome firework displays, one at Murray Park and the other at the Cottonwood Club. (the CC display was so great, but the sprinklers turned on and soaked the grand finale, unfortunately!)

We also saw set off two giant fireworks sets, the first one at the Cook house. The final event of the weekend was a firework display from home. We thought it was fun and exciting until our neighbors showed up with their illegal fireworks. Wow! They made our fireworks look silly.
