Rosie's Lesson on Matches

This past Monday, it was Rosie's turn to teach FHE.  I watched her before and after dinner getting ready; drawing, cutting, writing, and she looked very excited.  Promptly at 7 o'clock, we all sat down.  After the prayer, she started her lesson off with a story about a boy who played with matches.  We were a little confused, matches?  Bud finally spoke up, "This has nothing to do with the gospel.  Does this mean I can do my FHE about the Utes?"  After the lesson we played a matching game and then sang the closing song and said the closing prayer.

I asked Rosie about why she chose to teach us about matches.  She said that she wanted to play a matching game and thought a story about matches would go perfectly with the game.  Ah-ha! The simple logic of a seven year old.

I love FHE when the kids are in charge!

What a great opportunity for the kids to teach FHE. They will make great missionaries.

I love Rosie. Mom has lots of her stories and poems around and we loved reading them all. She is awesome!
