Bud's 11th Birthday

A few days before Bud's birthday, he got a card in the mail from Grammy and Grampy. It read, "Happy 11th Birthday!" My first thought was, Grammy made a mistake, Bud's not 11; but it's true, Bud is 11!

Here is a picture of Bud opening his presents, do you notice the shape in which he arranged his presents? It's a U, of course! He got a DS game, modeling clay, a utility club, money and his favorite snacks.

Bud choose his favorite dessert, pumpkin pie, to serve at his family birthday party.

We went miniature golfing for Bud's friend party, and it was very fun (and very hot). We went to Mulligan's and they have two courses which the boys (and Rosie) played. Afterwards, we went home for pizza and rootbeer floats. Those boys ate so much food! They were so stuffed after dinner, that they didn't eat their donuts for dessert.

We feel so blessed to have Bud in our family, he is a very nice boy and a great big brother to Rosie and Coleman. Bud is obsessed with the University and Utah! He also loves to watch TV and play with friends. He is a good golfer, tennis player and basketball player.

Bud has had a fun and busy summer. He plays in one golf tournament a week, in addition to practicing golf several times a week. He plays tennis at the Sportsmall three times a week and swims there with our family several times a week. His favorite places to visit are the Dinosaur Museum, the zoo, Wheeler Farm, the park with our cousins, the library and he enjoyed eating and shopping at IKEA recently.

Bud has many trips planned this summer, also. He just returned from 11 year-old Scout camp, he slept over! He is going to Pittsburgh soon, and to Mill Hollow after that. He's a busy, busy boy.
