Photo Shoot

A few weeks ago, Laura, Sara and I had a grand idea to go to the Garden Park Ward and take pictures of our kids.  Armed with our cameras, many different lenses, four clean and nicely dressed kids, and lots of optimism; we started out.  We certainly didn't finish up with that same optimism!

Coleman stuck out his tongue in almost every picture, fought with Brady and fell off a cement ledge and scraped his leg.  Macy was very shy and wouldn't look up into the camera, and she fell backward off a wall she was sitting on and was completely engulfed by the giant bush growing behind.  Luckily, she wasn't hurt, but it was scary to see the bush close up around her and watch her disappear from sight!  Brady didn't want to get his picture taken at all, and he fought with Coleman.  Ironically, he had the best shots out of the very few pictures we took of him.  Abbie looked great, but it is hard to pose a busy one-year-old who can't yet stand sturdily.  

In the end, there was one great picture of each of them.  None the less, we decided that the number of adults needs to be greater than the number of children.  Who wants to volunteer for next time?
