I Wish I Had My Camera

You'll never guess where I was when I found myself wishing for my camera.... the Utah football game! The Utes have a new field which is beautiful. It is a special kind of new turf that comes in colors so that the U on the field and the red endzones are sewn in, not painted. The effect is amazing and I really wanted to snap some photos. Who has my sports-loving husband turned me into?

I also loved the game! I missed my favorite players Paul Kruger and Louie Sakoda, but our new QB looks awesome and so does Matt Asiata. I even teared up at the end-of-the-game handshake when all the coaches and players hugged USU head coach Gary Andersen (former defensive coordinator for the U). It was a special moment!

The football excitement didn't end there, did anyone else see the fight at the end of the Boise State-Oregon game? Check the sucker punch thrown by LeGarrette Bount on youtube, it's crazy. He got suspended for the rest of the season, which is good news for the U, we play Oregon in two weeks.
