Celebrating America

     The third graders in Bud's school put on a wonderful Patriotic Program.  They had been practicing these beautiful songs all year and were excellent singers.  The most moving song of the program was a tribute to the different divisions of the armed forces.  It brought tears to our eyes as the men and women in the audience stood up when the students sang their theme song.

     Our very own Gordon Oettli stood proudly during the Army song.  That really got the tears flowing!

     These are some of the photos we took at the cemetery for Memorial Day.  We love our Grandma Mimi and LeRoy and  miss them both.  The kids absolutely love cleaning up Nana Nell and Papa Bud's graves.  They are always very overgrown and need Jono's magic touch each year.  This is a great family tradition and we look forward to remembering our relatives each year.
