Tasting Christmas
It's the most wonderful time of the year to decorate Gingerbread Houses! After school on Monday, 6 scouts (including Bud) came over and put together their own gingerbread houses and decorated them. It was a little crazy, but lots of fun. After dinner, Jen F. came over and she, Rosie and Coleman got to decorate their houses. The floor was very sticky by bedtime and candy was everywhere. But, everyone is happy and house smells like Christmas.
Bud opted for a more "natural" looking gingerbread house, while Rosie and Coleman piled on the candy. Coleman really loved decorated his house. Afterwards, he sat on the counter and ate lots of leftover candy. He happily exclaimed, "I'm tasting Christmas!"
This is one of Jen's favorite Christmas activities. Her gingerbread house turned out fabulous. (A special thanks to Costco for the gingerbread kits!)

So fun Jen. We are doing Gingerbread houses tomorrow, but instead of a house, this year we are doing a stackable tree. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Great pictures! Miss you guys....
That looks like so much fun. They turned out very cute.
